With the TimelinesAI Native Zapier Integration, you can create Zaps for WhatsApp and Open Ai assistant. These Zaps will allow your OpenAI assistant to analyze the received message and send a response in existing chat

Step#1: Create your OpenAI Assistant
Go to your OpenAI account here, go to “Dashboard” and follow the steps below:
Select “Assistants” and “Create”, now let’s create your first assistant using a prompt! follow the steps below:
1 – Choose a name for you assistant
2 – Give instructions to your assistant, paste the prompt with all relevant information from your company here! your assistant will use it to answer your customers.
3 – Choose the GPT Model you want to use here.

Create an assistant using data from attachments
Follow the same steps but instead of paste all informations in the “Instruction” section you will turn on the “ File Search” tool and upload your files there as show below:
How to train your Assistant
Now it’s time to test your assistant, use the “THREAD” section to chat and check how your assistant will answer, if you need to adjust something, update your prompt in the “Instruction” section or update the attached files.
Step#2: Create your Zap
Step 1: Log into TimelinesAI, Open AI, and Zapier.
Then, on Zapier, go to the Dashboard and refer to the “Make a Zap” section. Here, you should set up your Zap like this:
1 – Select the TimelinesAI and choose the “New received Message” event
2 – Connect your TimelinesAI account with Zapier, Go to TimelinesAI and click on the “Zapier” section
Make sure to click on the “Generate new token” button. This will provide you with a token that Zapier will require, to integrate with your TimelinesAI account:
Then, go back to Zapier and continue the process by pasting that token into this text box:
Now test your trigger as show below:
Step 2: Add Action “Conversation With Assistant in ChatGPT”
Go to your OpenAI account and create an API key: Create an API key and paste it in the Zapier section as shown below:
Step 3: Filling out your Action Fields
Setup Action:
Message: Message Text
Assistant: Choose your OpenAI assistant
Assistant name: Give a name to your assistant
Model: Choose the same option you selected when you created you OpenAI assistant
If you DON’T use attachments in your assistant that’s everything you need to setup here, but if you use attachments follow the steps below:
Tools: Select the “File Search option”
Now you can run your test and move to the next step.
Step 4: Add Action “Send Message to Existing Chat in TimelinesAI”
Setup Action:
Chat ID: add the “Chat ID” variable
Whatsapp Account Phone: Select your Whatsapp connect with TimelinesAI
Message text: add the “Full Response” variable from ChatGPT
And that’s it! As a result, when you receive a WhatsApp message, OpenAI assistant will analyze the received message and send a response in the existing chat. Here’s an example:
