Step 1: Setting the Stage
- Begin by opening the Zapier tab found within TimelinesAI. From there, click on “Generate new token”
- Under Token, click to copy the distinct token shown. It’s essential for linking TimelinesAI with Zapier.

Step 2: Template/Automation creation through Zapier
After generating your token, head on over to Zapier to create the automation. You’ll have the option to automate manually and automatically by inputting your desired actions and CRM. For this example, we’ll create the automation manually. We’ll begin by setting our triggers:
1. Log in to your Zapier account. From the dashboard, click on the “Create” button to start your automation.

3. The page will then reload leading you to a draft mode for your template creation. Here, you can set a “Trigger” and “Action”. We’ll start off with the Trigger as this will help us start our Zap automation.

4. A new window will open upon clicking on the Trigger button. Here you can type in and select “Microsoft Dynamics 365”

5. A new side window will open. As you’ll notice, there are 4 tabs that would allow you to do the following:
– Select the App that you’ll be using. We’ve set this one to TimelinesAI for this example.
– The Account to be used and connected
– To test the automation
